Hallo,

I just wanted to express my deepest respect for the SSDF testing Chess Tiger for
the Palm for their list.

Even when we only talk about the 20 games against Chess System Tal 2.03 played
so far, assuming a single game lasts about 70 moves on average this means 140
hours spent doing the testmatch. During this time the operator has to keep
concentrated and enter the moves on the little Palm with the stylus, enter the
moves on the PC. As far as I know this can be only done manually.

As I have played a few testgames against computer opponents with Chess Tiger for
Palm myself (although at much faster time controls) I think I can kind of
imagine the amount of work done here - this is really dedication !

I hope there will be some matches against dedicated units soon as those sound
most interesting to me. Also a match against MChess on the 386 would be
thrilling (although I think this computer probably isn't used anymore for
tests). It might be tough to find appropriate yet still active opponents on your
list - at least I am definitely looking forward to your next posts.

Peter
