Well, I´m absolutelly ignorant in computer chess programs, so I have a lot of doubts. Recently I have downloaded crafty-18.13. -I have readen that is better to put the ponder option off, or crafty would be surprised by the opponent´s movement and would play worse. That´s true? -Well, I play against crafty on Winboard and I believe that Crafty plays the same in 5 minutes or in 15. How can I set the "intelligence" of the program? -I have downloaded the tablebases but I don´t know how to run them. What should I do? Thank you very much.
