The iPAQ is faster for chess but I don't think there's a version of Chess Tiger available for that platform yet (nor will there be for awhile, I suspect). Pocket Fritz or Pocket Grandmaster (or even Chess Genius) on the iPAQ are stronger than any current Palm OS chess program (Chess Tiger being the strongest) due solely to the faster CPU in the iPAQ.
