I should have added that I run other programs for long analysis without any problems ( for example when I go on travel I often set up Yace for something like a three day analysis on it) and never had any problems. I really don't think it is a cooling problem but I bought the laptop in winter and it's getting warmer now for sure .. - if noone else has the same problem I will have to think about my hardware . Laptop has a PIII1200 processor inside. Peter
