I am also playing Gandalf 5.1 vs H8 at the moment. The score so far is 3-1 favor Gandalf 5.1 Hiarcs 8 is turning into a big disappointment for me. I'm still not sure it's better than Hiarcs 7.32 and that would be a terrible shame. I can only hope that Mark is busy right now working on an updated engine. Otherwise this could turn out to be nothing but a scham. The new Chessbase GUI is JUNK and if the engine is no improvement then it is simply a rip-off. At least with Shredder and Fritz I got improved engines. Jim
