I see that a lot of people are complaining about the poor performance of Hiarcs8 vs other programs, but the reason to buy it was NOT because you saw HIARCS 8 drawing againsg Deep Blue nor the other top Programs on the SSDF. Face it, the reason was because you saw how well it performed against GM Gulko and GM Smirin, plus the fact that it was a windows version of what you dreamed Rebel Century of being years ago. When Rebel Century is released people again will start their engines hoping to see a major improvement, but what you really will get is a good solid program just like HIARCS 8 that can play chess at 2700 against GM.
