Its obvious that people are not happy with the new Hiarcs because it didnt beat Fritz7 35.0 - 3.0 Or something to that effect. The fact is...It CAN beat Fritz7 and the other top engines. Which first and foremost makes it stronger than anyone posting on this board. I think most people have forgotten exactly what these chess programs are for. Its a tool for helping you play better chess, Study your games, Learn new openings, Having it tell you where you've messed up, etc...Having multiple programs gives you a choice. Lets keep using the Chess program for exactly what they are for, and not critisize because they didnt live up to our expectations. And BTW if anyone is SO disappointed with Hiarcs8 and feels the need to now own it anymore. You can send it to me I'll pay for shipping :) Mike.
