Jim, I appreciate very much these games you have published. It may be true that several hundred games are necessary to reach any firm conclusions but these 76 games are enough to raise some firm doubts. If hiarcs 8 were any kind of improvement over hiarcs 7.32, it is highly unlikely that you would have gotten such disappointing results. EVERY program has a an occasional bad result but the consistency in your results suggests that Hiarcs 8 may simply be a notch below the top programs in comp-comp play. And after a 3 year wait from H7.32, I find that very surprising. Of course, Hiarcs 8 (I did buy it) can still beat me up 10 times out of 10, but I don't see the point of putting out a new product that doesn't seem to be an improvement over the last one. eric
