But I never really thought of Junior as being the kind of program to favor the English and French; more like the Sicilian and Gruenfeld, I would have guessed. Maybe Junior and Nimzo should switch names, since the openings preferred by Junior were favorites of Nimzovich, while it's strange to see that a program called Nimzo should not like the Nimzo-Indian of all openings. It might have been illuminating if he had these stats separated for White vs. Black, to see if a program's difficulty with a particular opening was due more to problems on one side of the board than the other.
