Playing even with CM8000 is no great feat in my opinion. It has a weak book and no learning. It is way down on my database Elo list. Don't remember where at the moment but somewhere near Fritz 5.32 (maybe #21). Here is my Hiarcs 8 Mark: With 64 Meg hash: 546 (12.0s) 162Kn/s With 16 Meg hash: 565 (12.6s) 168Kn/s By the way, I have seen Hiarcs 8 hit over 500 Kn/s in one endgame. I don't rember seeing it below 100Kn/s while playing. So the Kn/s printed by Junior 7 should be ignored. Hiarcs 7.32 exibits the same behavior. Jim
