While the initial poster seems to think that g5 is a good move here, you, Miguel, think it's a bad one? I also think it's a bad one, but since you're the _way_ better chess player than I am, I'm sure you have a good reason why it's bad. :) My engine switches from g5 to c5 and stays with c5, but that doesn't mean a thing. :) Sargon
