I do not like g5 because the king will be easily exposed and creates several weaknesses. After g5 Nh5 probably the follow up should be f5 exf6 / Nxf6 and after Ng3 White is in very good shape, unless there are tactics that I am missing here in front of the screen, which is always possible. Note that in the position of the diagram, white attack is halted since there are no bishop in d3 and Be7 guard important squares (g5) to avoid the Knights to jump onto the black king. Take all this with a grain of salt because is a pretty fast evaluation and some analysis is required to support what I say. At any rate, g5 looks very anti-natural. Regards, Miguel > >Sargon
