It's about equal to the power supply rating, usually. The monitor draws a lot of it. Memory, disk, etc. all chew power. For the most part, they will be a couple hundred watts or less [about 2 light bulbs worth of power]. Running a bath is more costly than running your PC all day (unless you take a bath in cold water).
