AFAIK you can use those GUI updates for all new ChessBase programs which use ChessProgram7.exe. Maybe you must choose the path when it's not Fritz... I'm not sure. See also "Tools/Options, Version" from the menu. Since the GUI program is always the same, it's probably not useful to have it installed more than once, in case one has F7/S6/H8. Although I'm not sure at the moment, what's the best way to achieve that. I think I'd uninstall the older program (keeping the engines and INI files), and install the new one. Then update. (It was more or less the same with previous GUI versions starting with Fritz 5, but those had their own exe each.) Regards, M.Scheidl
