Hi, With a 3.5-.5 score against a 2641 FIDE player this has to be the best comp. performance yet at G/60. There are obvious reasons though to think that this performance is an anomoly rather than a bona fide representation of juniors strength. 1) It was a short match (4 games) with to small a sampling. 2) Junior's score against other top GM's at G/60, although very good, has never approached this level. 3)The GM was not at his peak physical or mental level: this is moot, but after watching M. Gurevich's level of play I think he was not at his best. This especially, after he was unable to put Junior away in game three in a won ending. Whatever the reasons, it's still a fine performance and something I'm sure we'll see lots more of in the future as programs inexorably march on to total domination of the game of chess. Regards, Peter
