Looking at the games, I think you're right here Vincent. In the 1st game Gurevich was slightly better but seemed to loose all interest in activity and space and just drifted into a lost ending. Very untypical for a player of his 40/2 rating. Then he just got heavily outplayed in the 2nd game. In the 3rd Gurevich was simply a piece up and managed to make a draw out of it. In today's 4th round he lost a levelled ending from weak play. He seemed to have left his technique in some restaurant or so...
