Gurevich is a well known 'time trouble' player. Someone who needs
all of his time. He is analytically very strong. His ECO analysis
are pretty good for example. Usually GMs just deliver some idiotic
analysis '1000 within a day' lines. But Gurevich did his ECO analysis
job very good. I was impressed to see that strategically it was all
very sound analysis.

I remember a rook endgame Gurevich - Diepeveen.
It was a blitz game for big money. For me that is. Gurevich
didn't even came into the statistics, but it was a half round
robin group.

Gurevich KRP 40 seconds left for the rest of the game
Diepeveen KRPP 12 seconds left for the game.

A move or 23 later:

KRP versus KR my time: 6.xx seconds. Gurevich: 21 seconds left.

He resigned there because the remaining moves were pretty
easy to make and with nearly 4 moves a second he already
had his suspicions who was going to win :)

This guy completely panics in time trouble.

What i saw were not too bad set up positions from Gurevich
versus junior with positions he would blindfolded draw or win,
but not when having 20 minutes or less for the entire game left.
