I use them for analysis and I agree: if there were a free chess program that
consistently scored over 50% against *all* the top commercial programs (Fritz
7b, Chess Tiger, Gambit Tiger, Junior 7, Shredder 6, Hiarcs 8, Rebel Century,
Gandalf 5.1, Nimzo 8, etc.) I'd probably cut way back on -- or stop -- buying
the commercial ones.
