No, but you could make a code snippet yourself. First swap even and odd bits. Piece of cake. Secondly swap the reversed two bit packets. Third Swap the reversed four bit packets. And then you can continue that way, or cunningly use the byte swap instruction. This would be about 13 instructions and maybe 21 clock cycles, depending on the exact CPU. MvH Dan Andersson
