I thought that most 2350-2450 players do not live from chess and chess is only a
hobby for them.

I know that there are even players with more than 2500 that do not live from
chess.

For example GM yona kosashvily(sorry if I do not write correctly his name) do
not live from chess and has a full time job as a doctor.

This is the reason that I believe that for most of the 2300-2400 players chess
is only a hobby and I guessed that if they decide to live their job and
concentrate only in chess they can get a significant improvement.

Even if someone is living from lessons about chess it may prevent him(her) to
train about chess at the same time of the lessons.

I also doubt if the people who tried hard used the right method.

I suspect that if they payed for the right teacher to train them they could get
the 2500 goal in one year.
