If this is to be understood as a rule of thumb, it is wrong (IMHO). E.G. I was told here, that Crafty uses around 1MB of lookupdata. It is certainly not killed by that. In 1 MB you can have 4096 256-Byte lookup-tables, setting them up und using them should keep the programmer busy for a while... Oliver Roese
