The GUI that came with *Genius 6.5* (including the older engines 3, 4 and 6) has Auto232 abilities. Furthermore one can use Winboard engines under this GUI. From the help file: Note: Advanced users can use additional 'Winboard' engines with ChessGenius 6.5 using the Winboard converter. Various Winboard engines are available on the Internet. For more details see the file 'readme.txt'. This file and the converter can be found in the 'Wbconverter' directory of the Genius 6.5 CD. So under the 6.5 GUI at least it is possible to match them without problem. J.
