If you want a windows solution, search MSDN for "pipe", maybe trye
"PeekNamedPipe" and read the documentation for that, and there should be a link
somewhere in that documentation for similar functions.

I also believe that it should have been f***ing manuals, not f*** manuals. I
don't think the answer to your question is going to show up in the kama sutra.
