Can't we just agree that "it depends"? It even depends on lots of things,
depending no the person and what not. :) Most Windows (and Mac) users love that
they can find their files w/o being case-sensitive - they're used to that. Most
Unix users like to find their files w/ being case-sentitive - they're used to
that.

It's pretty easy to find good arguments for either side. Let's move on and
discuss something different. :)
