I run my Fritz on a 1.5GHz Pentium IV as White against the Chessmaster run on a laptop with 0.9GHz Pentium III. I set 10sec/move (or 30sec/move) for both. Invariably, Chessmaster beats Fritz6 or 7. Why is this? Can anyone help me set up Fritz to put up a decent fight like a draw or a win sometimes? Thanks. Sandi
