If the computer at a given ply dont find a tactical refutation of what it consider the best move, it may make a strategical mistake. The oponent will "always" get a ply deeper and perhaps the mistake are inside the "tactics" range then, and since white moves first...... Anyway thats the best explanation I can come up with!
