If you for example turn the mouse off in the "CFG" menu the problems are over. Other solutions are to select another mouse driver. Two people reported that after changing the settings of their sound card the problems were over. There is really nothing wrong with Rebel Decade we are just busy trying to fix the problems of others. For the moment we assume that some IRQ's at interupt time are in conflict since someone else reported that after changing the IRQ of the mouse or sound card fixes the problem too. If anybody does have a clue I like to know. For the moment we advise: - Disable the mouse in the CFG menu (very bad I know) - Select another mouse driver (probably best hint) - Use REBELDOS.PIF - Use the F8 trick (see the README file) All the above may occur while running REBELWIN.PIF on some WIN systens, running pure DOS everything is ok. I am running and developing Rebel myself only under WIN95 and on my Pc's I have no problems at all which makes it even more difficult to trace the incompatible Windows driver. - Ed Schroder -
