This the best deal right if you want a handheld that plays chess primarily and
also have have PDA.

By the Handspring basic for around $50. Check pricewatch for current prices
under handhelds:

Buy Chess Tiger for the Palm here for $19.95

http://www.rebel.nl/chesstiger/index.html

So for $70, you will have a pocket PDA that will play very good chess and in all
probability play better than the Novag star saphire which will go for $200-300
(which does nothing else by the way than plays chess.). I would pickup the palm
ap "After Burner" - it will double your Handspring speed.

If you have alitte more cash, you might want to try the refurb Visor delux for
$99. It would be well worth it as it will have 8MB of memory (as compared to
2MB with basic.
