This version will check the CPU to see which compiler optimiztions are supported and will run the most optimized set. There is a small overhang for this feature ~1% - not much - but it should run on everything - including P4's. It will run about 1% slower than the version that is strictly for P4. Since I have a P4, I compiled a version that was best suited for my processor ;>) - I wanted that extra 1%!
