If you go into   Tools>Options>Version Tab you should be able to select the
version, whether it be Fritz 7 Hiarcs 8 or Shredder 6.
In my case however, I did have problems with the page setup for printing games
after the 7,0,0,8 upgrade. I then installed the previous upgrade over that by
selecting the repair option and the problem was corrected. The engine remained
as Fritz 7  7,0,0,8 and appears untouched. However, just as a precautionary
measure, I made a backup copy of my previous Fritz 7 engine file ( modification
date of March 23, 2002)before I even installed the most recent upgrade.
