Hi Derek, fine that the Fritz7 update worked with my hint :-) To your problem with Hiarcs8: I´m sure, the update didn´t overwrite anything in your Hiarcs folder, but the programs (GUIs) for Fritz and Hiarcs are the same AND use the same INI-files in the same folder. So only those INI-files (Apps70.ini, ...) were overwritten by your update. But I think it´s not a good idea (and wasting harddisk space) to work with those two programs (Hiarcs and Fritz GUI) in parallel - every settings change you make in ONE program will affect the OTHER program too, so in my opinion this makes no sense.
