Sorry, it´s only MY opinion, but why should one install three identical
(and very large) program under different names and folders?

The other thing I would be really interested in:
As far as I know all three programs are named ChessProgram7.exe and all
three store their configuration files under the same names (Apps70.ini,
Default.lay, ...) and in the same folder C:\Windows\Anwendungsdaten\
ChessBase\ChessProgram7 (replace "Anwendungdaten" with "CustomerData" or
"UserData" or whatever, I don´t know the correct name in English Windows
version).
So how should these config files keep track of which GUI they are belonging
to? I only have Fritz7 but I´ve heard exactly of those problems I mentioned
in some postings in other fora.
But I always like to learn something new - so it would be nice, if you
could explain the solution to this problem. Where and in which folders
are your config files stored?
