The GUI isn't engine specific... The switch in "Tools/Options, Version" affects the ?-Mark speed benchmark (which engine is taken for that), but AFAIK nothing else. The name chosen appears in the title bar and the startup screen. If you don't see a Hiarcs engine, there could be various reasons (i.e., more than one engine directory). Do a search across the whole drive in Windows Explorer for *.eng files, to check if they are all in the same directory, if engines are missing. It should be easy to figure out... it's just the normal GUI/engine concept. You also don't install WinBoard twelve times just because you have twelve different WinBoard engines. Regards, M.Scheidl
