I took a look into the Scid code and discovered that the Game List window is
setup to be nonresizeable in the horizontal dimension.  If you don't mind
waiting a few days, I could try to make some adjustments to the code which might
let you get all of the Game List on your screen, since I can reproduce your
problem on my system.

If you're interested, drop a note to my email (available in my profile) and I'll
see what I can do.
