It's a dedicated chess computer that resembles a Palm Pilot, both in its size and shape and in its touch-pad screen. The game plays an 1800-rated game it's no Kasparov, but that's enough to beat 89% of us (according to the U.S. Chess Federation) and includes many features, such as problem solving (up to eight moves ahead), a positional evaluation tool and various level settings. Its expected retail cost will be $80 (subject to change).
