We should scientifically examine the whole range of computer >speeds. >Sandi As Terry pointed out, running CM on a slightly differant or even a lot faster processor wont give you any unexpected better purformance for CM (or for most other engine). the performance differance will be (should be), related to the performance differance of all program under the same condition. Besides 10 games says nothing. I have played a set of 10games where Yace beats Shredder6, do I suppose YACE is better than Shredder? obviously not. CM8000 is good (and the only commercial engine that play most with), but its certainly is not the best. pavs
