Do you need it to be a phone or do wireless e-mail? Do you need/want it to play MP3s? Do you want to use it as a wireless remote control for your audio/video equipment? Which type(s) of memory expansion cards do you use? How small/thin should it be? Must it be brand new, or (to save money) are you willing to buy used? These are just a few of the questions one might ask. Right now, my personal preference is for the Sony Clie models, with their 320x320 (or even 320x480) screens, jog wheel, and other goodies.
