I'm not 100% sure, but I think the Wchess-type program for chess computers was
introduced with NOVAG Sapphire (1994) for the first time. Ruby and Emerald were
in the previous product generation of 1993 - but already had the "risc style"
CPU, accordring to Kurt Kispert's infos:
