Hi Bob,

I have another trick on stock (I´m doing this everytime after making a
new Fritz update):

Delete the following two folders (subdirectories)

C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information   ( is hidden!)
C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield

and the try again running Fritz7Update.exe.

These two folders include the InstallShield for Fritz7 and are created
new, if they don´t exist. I think this could solve your problem!
