Subject: New Chess playing computer

Well it is that time again for me to purchase a new machine. I am going to
purchase this in the next month and I need some advise. I think I can get the
best deal on a computer from a local group hear called monarchcomputer.com so I
called them up to compare machines. I am going to get a high end AMD or Intel
single processor machine but I wanted to compare prices on both to make my final
decision. I believe I get the most bang for the buck going with AMD so I am
leaning toward purchasing a single processor 2100+. I would like to compare
pricing between the 2.53Ghz and 2100+ machines but no locals seem to be able to
get and put together a machine using the 2.53Ghz chip. I have a few questions.

1.	I can get the Intel 2.4Ghz locally. Anyone know how that compares to 2100+
overall. Would I notice a diffrence in speed running it vs 2100+ on any
application that you know. Major Applications I will be using this for are
Chess, CAD, Dragon Naturally speaking software, Internet multimedia, Microsoft
Access Databases and Photo Editing.
2.	Where can I order a 2.53Ghz machine at a non Dell like price?
3.	Do you think AMD is going to lower their price like Intel in the next month
or two.
4.	When is AMD supposed to introduce their new processor to compete with Intel.
5. What do you think is the best configuration for the 2100+ ie what is
best motherboard, memory and video card I should use.
