Hello, I'm very happy Jan Louwman/John Van De Hoeven are operating, and that Vincent Diepeveen arranged everything for me. However, there seems to be a problem with Sjengs book. The book I sent Vincent (or rather, uploaded to my website) has 1.Nf3 as a priority 'c' move with 3.8% chance of being played, and 1.e4 Nc6 as a priority 'f' move (which means: NEVER play) and consequently 0.0% chance of being played. Sjeng played these moves in the tournament. So it seems it is not using my book (or not using the book at all). If someone can tell John/Vincent/Jan to check this out I would be thankful. At the starting position, the book should look like this: 1.d4 'a' 47.0% 25457 1.e4 'a' 43.6% 22423 1.c4 'b' 5.4% 5030 1.Nf3 'c' 3.8% 6533 [rest 'f'/0% ...] After 1.e4 1. .. c5 'a' 67.4% 10098 1. .. e5 'b' 21.6% 5589 1. .. e6 'c' 6.5% 3013 1. .. c6 'c' 4.2% 1844 [rest 'f'/'g'/0% ...] If this does not match, please a) make sure the correct book is opened b) clear all book learning and result learning that might have been done (buttons in the GUI book options) c) make sure settings are correct (default book options, but set 'games' from 2 to 4 and 'wins' from 1 to 2) I do not think it would have made a difference from the first two games, but I want to prevent possible future disaster :) My sincere thanks to all people that made Sjengs participation possible, greetings to all participants and my congratulations to Hans for the successfull Tiger-hunt :) -- GCP
