I can remember that I once read that a.o. Allgaier and Kieseritzky were hiding in the Automaton, the first during the Napoleontic time and the second during it's "second stage in life". But I can be misled, as I'm quite fond of the King's Gambit, and I might have associated one (or two) of those two names with another part of chess history..... J.
