By this I mean I have a lot of useful information with me all the time. From
flights schedules to personal medical information.

If I lose the Palm I'm not lost because I have a backup of its content in my
PCs.

I have dropped my paper organizer since I have a Palm.

Imagine that you lose your paper organizer (if you have one) and you will
understand what I mean by "whole life stored in DRAM".

Nowadays civilized world's complexity is exactly why a Palm (at least) is needed
to keep track of as many info as possible.

Not even speaking about the fact that with my Palm I can send/receive emails
(with the help of my IR Nokia), browse the net (not easy but doable), and run
plenty of splendid applications (like Chess Tiger!).

No problem. Just wait for 5 years.
