Subject: DOS version of Chest possible?

Is it possible to compile the program ´Chest´ to a pure DOS version?
Maybe with special settings of compiler options or with minor (!)
changes in the source code? Or is this on principle not possible?

It´s written in ANSI-C and also running under Linux, and so I can
imagine that it could also work under DOS - but I´m only familiar
with DOS compilers (Pascal, C), so I´m not sure.
