Hi all: After getting contact with Bruce-Ferret in ICC -and lost with Godzilla two games in a row, but I was playing and chatting at the same time- we have tested that all goes OK in the technical area and so we areready to begin next monday at 20:00 Santiago de Chile time, the same as New York I believe, 17:00 Bruce Moreland time. Conditions are the following: a) I will handle the computer conection and "sing" the moves to Ivan b) Ivan will play in a pretty wooden board putted in other room. He will be not allowed to see the screen as much as I asked Bruce to send me eval data of Ferret. c) The spectators -half a dozen chilean master or experts level players of my "entourage"- will be with me and keep silence and all the rules of a normal tournament. There will no chat with Ivan or whatever. d) After the completion of the games I will see to post them here. e) Ivan will be interviewed in radio and maybe Tv as much this is the first time a GMI plays a real match with real tournament conditions sponsored by a simple citizen without commercial purposes or commercial links of any sort. I will see that most of the hype goes not just to Moriovic or/and Ferret, but to all our community, ICC, CCC, etc. The more the people engaged, the better the conditions for our programmers, industry, stores and lastly for all us. As somebody said here, this is an example that anything can be done provided a little interest and just a few bucks :-) This is all by now Fernando
