Junior does not use a null move and even programs that use the null move do not
use it in evcery position and they may have some zunzwang verification.

I think that you assume here too much.

I think that there are different reasons that may prevent them to solve problems
without tablebases.

One reason is if there is a limit on the depth that they search but it is
dependent on the programs and we can make generalizations about every program.
