The usual big opening trees are based on such large game databases (+ analysis) anyway. So I assume they will create a solid book (similar to their Fritz 7 book for example) and crosscheck it especially against Kramnik's repertoire... maybe take a look, in which openings he scores a bit less than in others and things like that, probably. In addition to that, the can take a look at losses of Fritz 7 from long time controls, to see if they were book related (which I assume they usually do anyway, in preparation of the next Fritz book version each, that seems obvious). IMO it's more about giving the program the best available and solid theory basis, and take care that it's up-to-date and has no holes in the openings Kramnik likes, especially. But I don't expect that the opening book can win a game for the program. Probably this isn't possible against any other GM too, to 99,5%, as they will avoid "risky" tactical openings.
