I did the planning, over-all organisation, acceptance of participants, site preparation (together with the LDC - Leiden Mind-sports Centre), move registration and normalisation, trouble shooting of several kinds and website updates after each round. My co-board members of the CSVN were also involved in different ways: Essential was the cooperation with Rienk Doetjes during the tournament. He is a nationally qualified arbiter. He also did the (automated) Swiss paring. Ries van Leeuwen organised a chess-computer user´s tournament (a.k.a. "Gebruikers") in the same building as this "Programmer´s" tournament. He and Kees Sio (treasurer) helped in logistics, e.g. getting the materials together and back to their owners, who happened to be local to the venue. Chairman Cock de Gorter did the initial entry applications and the ceremony of prizes. Furthermore Eric van Reem, the editor of our magazine "Computerschaak" did some Public Relations and reporting. There is more to come from his hand, I´m sure. Finally I´d like to thank you, Frank Quisinsky and other webmasters for spreading the news from OUR SPORT. See you all around. Auf Wiedersehen! Theo van der Storm secretary of the CSVN (Computer-Chess Association Netherlands) PS: This was out second spring computer-computer tournament. The CSVN organises a yearly Open Dutch Computer-Chess championship in Sep., Oct. or Nov. since 1981, so the 22nd edition is coming up roughly a quarter after the ICCAs WCCC.
