Just for fun ..I set a KNN vs KP to see what the result would be --

this postion was selected just by me - I can't say at random - but with the
thought that it should take a long time ....

look at this - what happens if Black takes the knight - they get mated even
sooner
73...Kxh2  74.Kf2 Kh1 75.Ne4 Kh2 76.Nd2 Kh1 77.Nf1 h2 78.Ng3#
who says a knight is insufficent material to mate! another surprise is comming!

What is this - you let the pawn go!
}
95... h2 96.Nf8 h1Q
{
[D] 5N1k/5K2/5N2/8/8/8/8/7q w
ok chess friends - find the mate in 1!
}
97.Ng6# 1-0

What is neat about this problem is that the best solution is to allow the pawn
to Queen and if black takes the N on 73. Kxh3 - black gets mated sooner and gets
mated by just the one and only one piece - the lowly knight. I never really
thought about this before and never assumed it was possible.

Without EGTB this is way beyond normal computers with the current programs at
this time IMO.
