It may get worse results!! The Powerbooks have many many more openings, which include inferior lines (for particular programs)as well as good lines. Programers select certain opening variations that are better suited to their program's playing style. Then that is the book they include with their engine. The Powerbooks are good for us in that we can study more opening variations than we could if we only used the program's opening book. Programs will unknowingly play a poor variation simply because it is told to do so. I don't think it is a good idea to expect better results from the Powerbooks as that is not what it is designed to do. Brian
